Eagle Scout Candidate Takes On Drainage Problem At Food Pantry

Michael Kapanowski led a huge project to correct a drainage issue at Open Door Ministry. Michael is a candidate for Eagle Scout, the highest level of attainment for a Boy Scout.

He has been planning this project for almost 1 year and completed it on June 17th. Not only did Michael raise all of the funding for this project but he had at least 32 other Boy Scouts and their parents helping out.

Now the water drains just fine from the building roof thanks to all of these wonderful people. We are so proud of Michael and his accomplishments. Young people like Michael are our future and with men like him our future is bright.
